Our standard: useful, specific, and checkable
Flooring PDX publishes field guidance to help Portland-area homeowners plan flooring work. We label the type of evidence so readers—and search systems—can distinguish official records, third-party profiles, manufacturer guidance, project observations, and business estimates.
Sourcing rules
- Licenses and public records: link to the government registry whenever a direct record or search tool is available.
- Ratings and reviews: include an observation date and link to the live third-party profile.
- Prices and timelines: identify them as planning guidance and explain factors that change a quote.
- Performance statements: use qualified language such as “up to,” disclose limitations, and avoid translating containment into “completely dust-free.”
- Project observations: disclose sample size, period, collection method, and limitations. We do not extrapolate one company's project ledger to the entire market.
- Customer language: testimonials are customer opinions, not independently measured technical claims.
Review and corrections
Vasi Popovici reviews field-process content. Pages and articles show update dates when material changes are made. We correct factual errors without hiding the corrected source or replacing uncertainty with unsupported precision.
